A tray/guard is what I have to use most every night to stop grinding. It was originally a prescription for TMJ, 20 years ago. It is not too uncomfortable, once you get used to the routine. It does prevent headaches, too. My dentist has to use one too. Modern life is so stressful, especially as an entrepreneur where you do so many different tasks, handmade products, etc.

You’ve had that much stress for 20 years? That seems excessive. Have you tried to address it?

I had TMJ before becoming self-employed, then had a stroke from which I mostly recovered (except my side gig of doing calligraphy was nixed because of the shakes), and I am an excessive worrier, always have been. But, yes, I began yoga, pilates, regular exercise, quit smoking and alcohol. Things are much improved now. Thanks for your concern.
