This is unacceptable. We already went through this in the 90s with cryptography wars.

Code is speech, what someone else does with your code does not make you a criminal.

Privacy is not a crime. No one should be afraid to better their own privacy. Money was private by default until the 80s.

Most importantly we stand with samurai devs, regardless of our differences. Developers are not criminals just because of public usage any more than a knife manufacturer is responsible for murder.
