Parker Lewis has said on TFTC that Nostr "the social app" is a distraction and instead we should be concentrating on preparing for ways for bitcoin to be used for commerce.
He doesn't understand that Nostr will facilitate this by increased development in lightning wallets and in decentralised and uncensorable market places.
I think this place is going to be a great testbed for fedimints too. I'm patiently waiting for developments.
Not to mention the LN load testing that is going on here.

I think it's fair criticism at this point and time.
If NOSTRs only appeal is an uncensored version of Twitter with zaps then it's dead in the water. See bitchute the uncensored alternative to YouTube....
What a stupid take by him. Before nostr all I did was stack. Now I'm zapping and getting zapped all over the place. Clearly, nostr is the shortest path to widespread adoption.
Hardnto judge if he's right or nilot, but I appreciate his ability to focus for sure.
