Amethyst supports the Satellite.Earth communities, and chats, but it doesn't support the 0xchat communities.
And Oxchat doesn't do Satellite.earth type communities.
I didn't realize there was more than one.
There are different NIPs. I don't know the details.
There are actually a few different types of communities. The ones supported by Satellite.earth and Amethyst are NIP-72 communities, while OxChat uses NIP-29 communities. Flotilla also uses a modified version of NIP-29 that is compatible with OxChat's communities, but OxChat is not compatible with Flotilla's communities. I believe ChaChi is also using NIP-29.
