I'm bullish on #Nostr and betting big on it
I know things are slow as of now and we've had some plebs fall off
But I'm betting that soon we will have a large influx of normies as #bitcoin adoption goes up

Don’t be hard on yourself if others don’t get it .
I don't see any way in which "normies" are ever going to be using a social protocol like Nostr unless it gets adopted by their existing social media application, which is equally unlikely. And it has been almost 15 years of Bitcoin, if it's still not as adopted as it needs to be, it probably is never going to be so.

People are now shopping with Bitcoin, which is a very recent development
Bitcoin adoption is growing and so will Nostr adoption
Also, people don't necessarily stick to their chosen application as was seen with Twitter
Nostr adoption is certainly growing, but it will eventually hit a plateau, as the UX is still very inaccessible to normal users. The problem isn't getting them out of their existing app. It's about an unfamiliar UX. Most Twitter users (who did switch) switched to Mastodon and Bluesky, both have a similar UX to Twitter (on Mastodon, as long as you stay on mstdn.social).
Nostr needs an algo. Bad.
Self-serve content does not work on a social app. Whichever client builds a good curation feed will win.
