most successful framework i found for helping people hit that "lightbulb moment":

"what bitcoin does for money, nostr does for social media & communication"

draw comparison between bitcoin nodes and nostr servers (didn't hit them with "relays" unless they were interested in a deeper dive; the less terminology the better for brand newbies)

for people that aren't well-versed in bitcoin, i pretty much do the same, just AFTER explaining the case for bitcoin (the money-printing problem, why scarcity in money matters, why decentralization matters, etc.)

after setting that baseline, it's much easier to walk them through how this decentralization ethos can be applied to more than one field ⚡️
