Freedom Regained – Master Privacy & Anonymity Tech v .0.7
This presents a list, in rough order that you must learn technologies, to become & remain free.
Operating Systems
1. #Linux: newbies: ubuntu.com; getfedora.org; linuxmint.com advanced: debian.org
2. #BSD; ghostbsd.org; freebsd.org; openbsd.org (Berkley Software Distribution; BSD).
3. Specialist - Anonymity/Privacy (Linux); a) tails.net; b) whonix.org
4. Specialist – Security; a) qubes-os.org; b) kicksecure.com (Debian-based);.
Beginner: start with any one from 1 above if you’re on Windows still (and dump Windows asap). Once you
have learned to install and configure Linux. Learn KVM tech (see below). Intermediate: place inside a
KVM instance tails or whonix in which to surf the more dangerous parts of the web. Advanced: Qubes as
bare-metal install; kicksecure & whonix as KVM instances + others etc. ;)
Important; when you first install any operating system install secure; forensically wipe the disc(s) during
installation AND ENCRYPT the disk array(s) with FULL DISK ENCRYPTION. Secure. :)
