I was drawn into this debate at that time when the League surfaced a picture of Baldacci and Maine businessmen hugging up to Castro. Can't remember how Chavez ended up connecting into what we were exposing at the time. I just remember it was an overwhelming time for me because I was all of sudden drawn into the foreign policy debate over oil having been focused on social issues before that.
