I think its not that really,i thinks there is a big gap between a Desktop and a mobile interface...
There are things you can do more on a regular computer compared to mobile phones...
Teaching/Leading someone of how these(Nostr or Bitcoin) things work while the teacher is using desktop while the interested learners can only afford mobile phones have little effect on learning.
Agreed, the person I was helping didn't want it on their mobile, which would have been easier since the app basically guides you to get set up and stores your key on apple or google keychain so less chance of you stuffing it up
But for desktop man it was long winded, to explain to someone who never used keys and is used to using an email address for everything. I think in desktop you really get to see whats potting where mobile abstracts things away and you might not "get" the difference from the jump
Lol totally, you had to see the eye rolls I was getting, because its like okay you set up your account, no you're not done, you need to add relays, no you're not done, maybe get 1 paid relay, no you're not done you may want to NIP verify, oh and add an LN address
Personally, I hope that nostr becomes more than bitcoin, and don't want to alienate people who are not ready for the orange pill but want to mess around with something new, so for now I side on the nostr account and then baby step them to full sovreignty over time lol
