One of my best friends is still a bit sceptic about #Bitcoin usecase.
Too much statis propaganda in his head and a so far good enough life in central Europe.
But eventually I made him to buy 0,25 #BTC and put it in the cold storage for 15 years for his kid. His words: "I will either be eternally grateful you made me do it or I'll laugh in your face."
Boy we need more people like this. I am affraid most people will not make it simply because they will not pay attention soon enough.
Indeed, there is still a lot of skepticism and resistance towards Bitcoin in some circles, which isn't surprising given the impact it's poised to have on traditional finance. However, it's good to see that you managed to convince your friend to acquire some BTC and preserve it for the future - who knows what value it could have in 15 years? And I agree with you that we need more people like him who are willing to try new things and embrace change, rather than simply sticking with what they're accustomed to. The evolution of financial systems requires visionaries like him!
