We often hear, that we're so early.

Recently I listened to a podcast, in which the speaker reasonably calculated, that there are 0,2% of the world's population who really "get" Bitcoin. That's about 1 in 500?

I haven't met one in real life, yet (besides my circle). So, this could be true.

On the positive side: the we would still be the so-called "innovators".
