I used to like Peterson, but not so much now. His take is completely backwards. I think women prefer psychopaths over simps. I don’t think women actually want a psychopath what they really want is strength, confidence, and power from a man. But that’s what a psychopath projects. And i’ve watched him for a while, and I don’t think he ever really explains why women are attracted to the dark triad men.

Immature women who are too stupid and self deluding to know the difference prefer the high time preference men, yes.
He doesn't drill down into the truth of things. He just constructs a guess that is plausible and as long as it is not disproven he sticks to that guess. Very illogical.
I think smart women can be fooled by fake confidence. It’s just with the psychopath they can’t fake their confidence forever
Which is why smart women who are low time preference are the ones who actually guide evolution and civilization to a better place.
First of all women and men do not prefer the dark triad. A lot of women and men are choosing to stay single by choice. There is a rising in sexless, due to man and women, that have in the curse of their life, came across and connected to one type or several types of tge dark triad.
Secondly is not only immature and stupid people that fall for it.
To understand the complexity of these connections we must be aware that these people with dark triad personalites, have a strong developed cognitive empathy that allows them to scan a person at first encounter, and then the "game" begins.
You need also to understand deeply the concept of love bombing, intermittent reinforcement, devaluation and how these kind of connections are build in cycles of patterns that go through all those concepts on a loop.
No one likes to be abused, maybe only masochists.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with men and women it’s a part of life. I think we’ve been the same since forever and nothing’s changed with us. It’s the structure of society that’s broken and that’s why sexlessness is increasing. It might actually be fiat that’s really causing this.
