Uhh, you got The Bitcoin Machine.

Envy much👍🏼

Couldn’t not 🤤

Nicely done. How long have you had the Bitcoin machine? What’s your review?

I’ve had it since October and no issues with the node itself. There FAQ isn’t the greatest, especially for newbs, but it wasn’t a big deal. My apartment complexes Ethernet is what gave me the most trouble

Good to know. Might look into this when I’m getting close to the 1TB mark

They sell the housings separately too

If you’re on a budget or just trying to save sats, you could build a node on your own. It’s not terribly difficult as long as you follow a guide.

I’m running a low-budget node currently, but looking to add a few more this year for experimentation

Same. I kinda want an arsenal of experimental nodes

Unfortunately the opportunity cost is time and sats

As the old passage goes, “Time wasted on Bitcoin is never time wasted” or something like that.

🔥🔥🔥

Followid for that brilliant insight 😂

The LTP approach though is, what if your time and cost invested in experiments today lead to great benefits to the network tomorrow (or in the next 10-20 years)?

Very true. Knowledge is power. Lots of factors at play like income, net worth, time horizon, and necessity. In my situation I feel like prioritizing sats is the best payoff. At least until I’ve hit my stacking goal

By the way, are you guys part of nodestrich?

I joined yesterday. Quite the community

Nice, experimentation is always needed. I have two nodes, but I’m looking to expand to a third possibly.
