Damus has a similar feature but their approach is around relays rather than lists afaik.

Indeed but despite being similar from a UX standpoint I do think they're both very different functions with very different use cases.

Lists = choose people

Relays = allows creation of niche communities kinda like subreddits

I'd love to see both.
