I used to say that, _I work for Visa_. Which was a funny way of saying much of my paycheck went to them.

Jesus asked Peter, _Who pays taxes_? At the end of that, he tells him that for now we pay not to give offense. And I think that wisdom applies.

However, I hope a time will come when there's no one to do the collecting, there's no one to do the charging for that offence, and no enforcement.

Then we shall be free indeed.
