The Supreme Court of Russia has allowed the withdrawal of bitcoins to a bank account in rubles to be considered the legalization of criminal proceeds. The Supreme Court came to this decision during the review of the case of a drug dealer who received payment in cryptocurrency. The court ruled that the conversion of bitcoin into rubles can be regarded as money laundering.
