I want to have 4Tb for longevity. Can I do it with your setup?
ya, you may need to swap out the hard drive but absolutely. Some things to note:
if you are going for 32 gigs of Ram / 4 TB storage, the start9 machines start to be very competetive with what you can put together ( at least from my sleuthing on the internet for parts). you should also factor in an external hard drive for backing up the server. also - if you buy a start9 device, they give you a redemption code fir lifetime access to their customer service chat room. as a user of start9 for years now, their customer service is top notch and at times invaluable when debugging an issue.
