What messed me up was house prices and landlords. If I could pay for somewhere to live in ten years, with basic jobs, I would have just done that, without taking money from the taxpayer ever. Basic jobs because shit happens. If I lost my fancy job, I could afford to do any job just to pay off the house. Every other cost is easy to achieve. Food. Utility bills no big deal.
