Yes please!
Sounds dope!
Yup please π
That does sound pretty dope.
I've always found it annoying that one account can't be as versatile as real life.
I want to make content on bitcoin / data engineering / cooking steaks / fixing weird things on my car / no cat videos though.
Filtering out all Bitcoin and nostr content for an afternoon would be interesting. Would want it to be easily reversible though.
Could be useful (not that I'm on damus). Word filtering (out) is often mentioned, sorta similar
Topics good idea π
!!!
Want! But what is a topic? Is it endless? Take photography for example. Start with general genre topics? Drill down to gear? Then bodies and lenses. Then lighting techniques. Film vs digital etc etcβ¦ Can topic type be limitless on here? Fascinated to see how it might workβ¦
Please. The user must have the facility to follow publications of their interest or discard them.
Sounds awesome.
I dig it
Filters - proper sieves - are such a great, never-implemented idea! But why not?
I keep almost posting a whiney rant I wrote about how utterly tired I am with Mastodon, b/c of The Eternal (Twitter-migration) September and how political content is practically unavoidable there now. It's exacerbated by the strong pressure to boost content.
A negative filter would do the trick, although most people probably wouldn't label their stuff well.
That sounds cool. Didn't G+ add a similar feature before going down? Organizing posts by certain topics that people could access.
Yes, make it something like a channel of theirs that I can follow specifically. User#channel@domain.tld
This'll make it possible for them to make new ones at will and followers would be able to mute them as well.
Yes, wish this existed! Sorely missing on other platforms, was something I wanted to make happen on the bird app back in the day.
