Tested? A Nostr app?

Novel concept. I like it.

I'm actually a tester, not a developer.

I just program some of the easier frontend stuff, to help out.

I do a lot of programming, of course, including of the test automation and utilities, but "Developer" is not my main role on the team.

As we see from lots of tools built for Nostr it's an important role.

You can see it in more commercial products, as well. Lots of companies tried to save money by skipping testing and much hilarity has ensued.

Colleague trying to activate an expensive Solidworks license all week and failing. Dassault support has no more idea why than we do.

Closed Source World is Clown World...

Yeah, it's often not better, unless you get into critical systems. Which is the stuff I work on. It has to be tested, for liability reasons.

This is true.

I've use Debian Linux for my own computing needs for a long time. It seems well tested and just works, I rarely have trouble. At work it's a mix of Windows and whatever the boss read about on the Internet this week. Otherwise known as a disaster 😅

Hahaha 😂
