If you’re a Bitcoin business selling products on NOSTR I highly recommend putting instructions in your bio that facilitate the fastest purchase possible.

For example take nostr:nprofile1qqsppdnxpjc82jlm3yn9gawhv7p4nm69a3f80rg5ycw305xned2s0hcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshsmz69h2. What could that instruction set look like:

“Zap any post for 10k sats for soap. DM me your preference and address”.

For nostr:npub1gh73j404jrdg0s0a9mden5t6enertmp7hu90u8fnq6k7gf5ncm5s5c4ruj I saw people saying “accept bitcoin and you’ll have a customer”. I love that but you can zap a post with your size and they’ll send you a shirt. NOSTR means everyone accepts Bitcoin already.

In light of the post below, this blows the mind of normies to watch happen in real time. It’s like magic to them because the circular Bitcoin economy on NOSTR is actually indistinguishable from a fairy tale.

We are literally out of the fiat matrix forever if you complete your circular economy cluster of your favorite products.

I love where your head is at! There is a slight glitch in me doing something like that though. DM's don't always come thru, Depending on the client you're using. Sometimes, I won't see DMs for days, and even weeks until I open another client, and find them.

Also, the busier a business gets, the harder it will become to keep track of using that method.

Yes but the zaps are verifiable. Make it a unique number that can only mean an order. Then DM them if you don’t see a DM from them.

Basically, there's a bunch of weird gotchas when trying to sell stuff via zaps and try to keep communications private. I sell cannabis seed and privacy is important to lots of the people buying the product.

Gotcha. What’s best practices now to main privacy? What if privnote was integrated for example for one time use of address? Ideas like that are interesting to think about. I agree privacy needs to be maintained as much as possible .

I start with the unreliable Nostr dms and then move to signal for further communication. Having a more reliable private message protocol integrated with a Nostr client seems like a solution. Basically using the Nostr key pair but use something else instead of native Nostr.

Can you see my "status" next to my pfp? Maybe only amethyst supports it. Anyway, I just give instructions on the note that markets the product on how to pay. I tried having a "store" but I found it easier to just shout out to Nostr that stuff was for sale.
