Now I'll buy that one. After thinking about it, Bitcoin is more like water in its divisibility, so referring to it in the singular might make more sense.

If you add water to water it's one body of water so you just say water not waters.

If you combine multiple UTXOs in the same transaction it becomes one UTXO so maybe same concept?

Liters and sats are units of measurement so we pluralize them.
