Happy Christmas Eve 🎄✨

Tonight I’m thinking of a momma who may have overdone it.

She was the kind of momma who worked tirelessly and served selflessly, always showing up, always giving, often putting her own needs last. She lives with lupus, carries anemia quietly, and follows a vegetarian path out of deep respect for life. From time to time, she turns to iron infusions to keep going for her family and the people she serves. This time, though, her body reacted strongly, shock, weakness, fear. And a trip to the emergency room! A reminder that even well-intended interventions can overwhelm a sensitive system.

In the stillness afterward, she didn’t feel angry, she felt curious and a little scared.

Homeopathy teaches that the body isn’t broken, it’s communicating. Rather than forcing iron in, remedies like Ferrum phosphoricum are often thought of when iron imbalance and inflammation are present, offering gentle support instead of override. After a difficult infusion, homeopaths may also consider remedies for shock and reaction, such as Aconite for sudden fear and collapse, Arnica for trauma to the system, or Nux vomica when the body feels poisoned or overwhelmed. The goal isn’t suppression, but helping the vital force reset and heal.

Now she’s sitting with bigger questions.

If this were you…

Would you continue with infusions and manage the risks?

Would you change your diet, even if it conflicted with your values?

Or would you explore homeopathy and other gentle approaches, trusting the body’s wisdom to restore balance in its own time?

No answers tonight. Just rest. Candlelight. And deeper listening.

✨

What would you do?

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas Eve 🎄

And a gentle reminder during this holiday season:

be kind to yourself, listen closely to your body, and move softly, especially if you’re the one who’s always caring for everyone else.
