I remember there being so much hype in spring and summer of 2024. Then it all just fizzled out. Fedi took a fair amount of VC funds too if I'm not mistaken

In practice Fedimint has had almost no uptake the few Fedimint that were started all voluntarily closed or are in a degraded state and shutting down. Cashu by contrast has enormous uptake and mints are constantly popping up.
