BTW your vpn app, if its any good, should support split tunnelling.
Meaning you can select which apps should be forced through the VPN And which ones shouldn't if that helps.

but using a VPN with a corporate operating system is kindof counter productive imo unless you just want to unblock wallet of satoshi or some other service.
if you use Brave Browser for YouTube on desktop you wont get any ads.
If you use PipePipe app on android, you wont get any YouTube ads.
