Who Truly Represents Fascism in the USA?
Sensing defeat, the Democratic Party escalated its defamation campaign against Donald Trump. The latest move was to use a Trump opponent, a former chief of staff fired by him, to make baseless accusations that Trump had praised Hitler and that he is a "fascist."
They use the party-aligned press, such as The New York Times and The Atlantic, to spread these accusations.
It’s not hard to see who represents fascism in this election: the Democratic Party itself.
Let’s consider: who has weaponized the press to function as the party's propaganda machine?
Who has an agenda of concentrating power in the state, with more taxes, more economic intervention, more regulation, and the centralization of decisions in the federal government, following the logic of "everything within the state, nothing outside the state"?
Who has used the state apparatus to censor, persecute, and convict political opponents?
Who is undermining the First Amendment and the Second Amendment, which respectively guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms?
Who has filled the state apparatus, taking power from elected representatives and placing decisions in the hands of unelected bureaucrats?
Who deceived the American public about the president's health, now trying to push a nullity into the White House who didn’t even receive a single vote in the primaries?
Not just for the American left, but for the global left, the term "democracy" has come to mean the hegemonic and totalitarian power of socialists, while the term "fascist" is used to slander and persecute any opponent.
The only positive side of all this is that it’s becoming increasingly difficult for the left and the press activists to convince the public.
