We always move in the evening. It's just better for our schedule, but also the grass is more nutritious in the afternoon sunshine (same reason hay is best cut after lunch).
I’d move them then too, but with my inconsistent schedule, the afternoon rarely works for me. Mornings are my only consistent time.
