In my opinion, this is kinda unfortunate. Seems like a missed opportunity to meet user needs, of course as a paid service from engineers.

I just don't want to be a constant bother to them; all devs build build build and that's good

Users should report bugs as often as they can, but only after they themselves and tried multiple paths to sort out the issue

Yeah, I would guess that many will not have the patience or knowledge to do that though and instead just walk away.
