anyone who is engaged in propaganda against a programming language that Google does not actually spend any money promoting is immediately suspicious

Go continues to be funded by Google because it saves them money

everything else about it is irrelevant

and anyone who goes out of their way to attack #golang is immediately suspicious because such hostile behaviour reeks of propaganda

Google gets their money worth out of Go

that's why they don't flood the forums and social networks with marketing

unlike a certain former Netscape corporation i could mention

That's a really strong point in Go's favor - they don't bother marketing it. If the competition is using something inferior, teaching them the better tool would be bad for business
