I used to drive submarines. So when you send pictures of ships like this all I think of is "that's a nice target". 🙂

Yeah it was back in my statist days. But yes, life underwater is simpler.
Just saw this and thought of you and laughed - don't suppose you ever drove a sub into a mountain by accident dis you? This was on a post about a Nat Geo painted map of the Atlantic Icean from the 60s;
I didn't but it happened to people I know and went to school with!
USS San Francisco. Check out the pictures on Wikipedia. Crazy. Tragically sailors died it kinda not so nice ways 😕
