Yo hi! I usually post things about linguistics, science, biology, environmental science, health, and recently, some stuff on numbers. I'm an advocate for freedom of communication, but I've been busy with other things and have only just discovered Nostr.

I'm a bunch of things but I mainly focus on environmental science, training people into becoming scientists, and an array of aspects about communication. A strong future for humanity and life depends on good community and good communication. I accidentally became a linguist, and I've made a few alphabets, my latest one is called NewEng and it does a good job of encapsulating both English pronunciation & its accents, and English etymology.

I'm looking forward to connecting with other likeminded folk on here. It already feels great to be able to post here in the knowledge that this data is not inside Meta (etc) and cannot be controlled, suppressed or banned by them.

Hello hello

Welcome!

I’m fascinated to learn more about your alphabets!

Hey Scott! Ah cool, great to hear you're interested!

My current project, NewEng, is partially done, I've got it into several phases of spelling updates, but I've run into some troubles with the final phase/s so I need to do some more heavy thought-work to resolve them.

You can learn about NewEng on my website. The website is also not complete, as I'm still working out the best ways to present the orthographic system so that it's accessible by both native speakers and foreign-language learners!

Here ya go:
