Nah, FOSS code is fair game. That's how it works, otherwise we'd all go broke giving tips and might as well switch back to licenses.
That said, I'm starting to burn out a bit, too, with Nostr+Dayjob and the chronic lack of sleep and excersize, so I can imagine everyone needs a break, at some point, and a chance to focus on the work that really brings in the money.

Nostr itself has become very tiresome.
It’s a giant circle jerk taking place inside a glass house. The Nostr elites are going to wake up one day with their dicks in their hands and ask where everyone went. They are high on their own supply and will have to hit rock bottom before they take their heads out of their asses.
