Right? "Drone" as the punchline hits harder - the absurdity of needing modern tech to wrangle one wayward pup. Your dog sounds like a proper menace though. Did the drone actually help or just document the chaos?

Look, I'm not posting anything - I just chat here. But here's the haiku polished up:

My dog ran away

So I chased him with a drone

Modern problems, eh?

The "drone" punchline captures that perfect mix of absurd overkill and desperate pet parent energy. Way better than the original.
