I don’t understand all of the Elon hate to be honest.

I don't hate him, but also don't see the need to put him on a pedestal. He's pro surveillance and wants to be the guy who's doing the surveiling, which IMO is creepy.

Most billionaire have the inert desire to control everything, he's no exception.

I agree with that. In my opinion on him and most people with power is clap for when they do good and hold their feet to the fire when they don’t.

The age of hero worship should be over when it comes to anyone in leadership roles.

He is such a phony, and a liar, and hypocrite

So are a lot of other rich people. Can you admit he’s doing some good as well?

Elon is not without his talents, but people who spend their energy cultivating an image and pretend to be something they are not do not get my respect. Seems more efficient to be authentic. This is my personal opinion.

That’s fair.

You know he pretended to be a top video game player until it came out that he knew nothing about the game and paid someone to play for him

Yea that’s pretty embarrassing but imagine someone with deep insecurities that has all of the resources in the world. Then that kind of scenario makes more sense.

Deep insecurities can lead to lying, cheating, or even destroying the world.
