It’s official, cord cutting is now more expensive than cable.

Subscribing to the top US streaming services will cost $87 this autumn, compared with $73 a year ago. Meanwhile the average cable TV package costs $83 a month.

This isn’t sustainable and I expect one or more of these streaming services to throw in the towel within the next year or two.
