Nostr Web Client

I wonder how Nostr will mature in the age of algorithms given the ease of just posting a post/ video and the rest is taken care.

I have been on Nostr for a few months and can say I have never posted this much in my life and it is way more active than any other platform in respects to frequency of content.

I am very familiar with the pros of this technology, but what do you think the cons are?

How will Nostr grow and compete with centralized platforms with increasing numbers of users who don't care about their privacy and autonomy.

In a multipolar world, the free flow of information will be essential. China and Russia ban US companies, other countries will likely follow as their dependence on the US dollar decreases thanks to Bitcoin. US companies will need to adopt and implement decentralized, open alternatives if they don't want to be overrun.

I feel the same way about posting here!

Algorithms are coming to Nostr, but they will be individualised, client-side and transparent. I'm working on one. #minitru

There will be asymmetries in individuals' ability to make best of this, especially at first.
