It's useful for notifications and 2FA. Since GitHub inbox is messy, push notifications are handy. Specially for folks with multiple GitHub accounts. Also, I guess folks use Copilot as a ChatGPT like chat client.
interesting — it never would of occurred to me to use it outside of a computer
I like to use it to check on the status of GitHub Actions and merge things once all checks have passed – especially for repos that auto deploy after the merge.
mostly for PR discussions on the go. CI notifications is also nice
