I think it's a bit too buggy atm, but dev's been on break and seems cool so I will check back in on it in the future. But been using snort.social and coracle.social ...maybe try them instead? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, I'm using Iris since it was the first one that was sort of functional, but it looks like it's being overtaken by others gradually. Too bad.
I was a little harsh early on (unjustly so), and I know making a web app with tons of asynchronous data flying around is a big challenge to do correctly.
As much as I dislike the entire Javascript ecosystem, from language to tooling to community, it's a testament to modern web development that it's possible for one person to make this kind of app as a one-man show. Hopefully he's able to stay in the game and keep making it better.
There is no perfect webapp, not that I've found anyway. There's also Lume, a desktop client, but not tried it. The Coracle dude has an interesting blog about his thinking and building process which you may find interesting:
