I have doubts. Consumers need a connection with a content provider before giving away their value (typically money). They don’t want to part with money easily. Businesses on the other hand pay more than individuals because the business can directly correlate the money spend to revenue changes.

We shouldn’t give up on v4v yet. If you talk to Adam Curry and others who have been doing it for years, they’re still very optimistic.

Maybe it comes down to a combo of v4v with businesses customers playing a part in that. Content provider get very selective about sponsorships, #zapvertising, and other things the market will try. Let’s keep getting creative.

I doubt about hyper way too. In my opinion you can only choose one model. For example, Damus now can zap for developer team when you make any zap at the same time. But i feel by doing this they give up subscription model.

I am new to this field. do you have any recommendation reading for v4v?

HI Marks I just have some time recently to read and think more about v4v and I noticed Adam Curry is on Mastdon but not Nostr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Sherry, yes he is on Nostr at #[5]. He is more active on Mastodon.

whops! Followed! Thanks!
