My heart goes out to her and her family. My Dad was hit hard with pneumonia in the New Orleans area after Katrina and we learned a) how dangerous it can be and b) how difficult recover can be, especially after being bedridden for many days or weeks. What’s the rule of thumb? For each day on your back, you lose 10% of your capacity to walk. Something like that.
