Nostr users thinking it is immune to censorship is delusional. We keep trying to tell them how it's not from our Fediverse experience and they just don't get it.

Censorship is not always bad. We don't like seeing spam. If some of us don't like seeing racism or disruptive trolling, then so be it.
Censorship is bad if it is a central authority and not a user choice. If it is every users choice. It is their apathy that prevents them from adding 'free' relays. Then it's not bad. It's natural. Tribalism is natural. Secularism is not natural.

When instances start sharing blocklists of people they don't like, that will form a central authority. It will be very difficult for people to interact with one another and many people will not discover other relays.
You act like this is a new concept but it's not. Tech like this existed for decades.
It'll be the same as the fedi eventually when the adl comes to start bitching. At least this is bringing mostly bitcoiners away from twitter and the topics will be varied. The annoying thing about gab or the fedi is ppl only want to bitch about politics mostly. As a bitcoiner i am more interested in finance
