He had openly discussed suicide and depression, publicly stating that suicide was a cowardly way out while admitting it was a constant battle for himself. Why do you think people resort to suicide? And why does it seem to affect white men more than any other race? Robin Williams, Heath Ledger, Kurt Cobain are a few celebrities that come to mind.

You met him?
I haven't personally. I should've been clearer. He was in our town for a movie or a comic convention and he was at restaurants and bars around town where we have friends working. He also went to an addiction clinic another friend worked at to talk to some of the people there and encourage them.
That is awesome. So sad that he is gone.
