is blue wallet/alby - phoenix - coldcard a considerable setup for now?

Yes πΆπΎπ«‘
could you give me a short TL;DR on what the differences between the first and second are?
trying to teach myself and another normie, so they can stack safe
First is fully custodial solution, second is a node on your phone type of solution, third is just an address on a chain πΆπΎπ«‘
okay they wouldn't have any idea about any of these words π π
Oops. First is good for small amounts up to 500K or so, 1M is a limit. Second is second layer (lightning) but you hold the keys. πΆπΎπ€£
ohhh, this makes more sense ππ
sorry, they're really young, but they're excited to hold sats π€
from what point would it make sense to send your sats to your hardware wallet?
Bluewallet and coldcard is what I use and it's great.
Other apps are better for me with lightning since I run a node and don't want to fool with Lndhub. I'm a fan of Bitbanana and Zeus.
You can send straight from alby to cold storage
coldcard is something that i don't yet have, but was curious about
i own a jade, but i really want to get a coldcard eventually
yeah, thats pretty much what i do tbh. if it aint broke dont fix it ya know
