.@TarekFatah (https://nitter.moomoo.me/TarekFatah) has passed. Condolences to his family & loved ones. I had the honor of meeting the Canadian Muslim author in January 2019 in Toronto. Mr Fatah’s writings & advocacy against Islamic fundamentalism & extremism were hugely inspiring to me when I was a student. He called out the hoaxes & lies of the Islamophobia industry. He inspired me to be brave in the face of threats & intimidation. I will miss him.
