Still boggles my mind that people use the Cloud for anything. Store everything locally. I will never understand why people don’t do this. Hard storage is basically free.

We need a simple way to have mirrored storage offsite. Like have one drive at your house that is mirrored to one at a sibling or trusted friend’s place. That way in event of fire, flood etc your stuff is safe
You can back up your phone on your computer. Do it as often as you’d like. It’s not difficult. Put copies on multiple hard drives if you want.
The thing I struggle the most with is sharing videos & photos. I liked immich but it's painful with home upload being capped to 30mbit.
