more people zap on stacker news than on nostr seems like by about 10x and there is like a hundred of us on there.

Probably has to do with zaps not working in some clients. On Damus I still can't zap, and Snort works only about 25% of the time. So.. the 2 major clients i use daily are unstable at zapping. I imagine others are seeing the same issues.
ya, thats prolly got something to do with it.. nostr:npub1unmftuzmkpdjxyj4en8r63cm34uuvjn9hnxqz3nz6fls7l5jzzfqtvd0j2 made a good point that the only option is to zap to show appreciation vs. all the options in nostr ( boost, quote, like, or zap).. think that has something to do with it too.
Probably because more signal, less noise
