This thread warms my heart because I had to explain to someone what a punk show was recently and they were younger than me. Side note: Punk and Ravers were very different when I was coming up. So the idea of being punk enough to go to a rave is like wha-what?

we still have real punk shows like at this venue called the sinkhole, but these days, the underground rave scene might be the most punk things happening rn

Punk should be ever evolving not stuck back in its origins. An art form dies when it quits innovating.
