Dang birds are sleeping in the trees again.

It doesn't really bother me, but these girls suck at flying compared to my previous, more flighty breeds.

Already found one girl limping a little and im pretty sure its because she ejected herself from the tree and didnt perform a proper airborne landing.

This was mine a few years back. I clipped their wings and that helped a little, but you're probably gunna have to lock them in their coop for like 3 or 4 days

Most of them sleep on top of the coop. Theres so many of them now, i couldnt lock them in there even if i wanted. Lol

I really dont mind the tree roosting. As long as they arent sleeping and crapping on top of the fencing i dont care.

No predator issues? Lucky girls

Some predators. Nothing like way out in the country though. Ive got two dogs in a yard and the flock is in a run within the yard.

Bobcat gets after the neighbors ducks but not mine or the chickens.

Coyotes wont come out back either.. though one did *almost* snatch my cat in front of my neighbors driveway camera across the street.

Creatures of habit! Lock em up!
