‘Ne Zha 2’ Crosses $1.1 Billion in China, becoming the highest-grossing film in China’s history, and the first movie ever to cross $1B in a single market world-wide.
China’s 2025 cumulative film industry total has surged to $2.14 Billion, a 418.9% increase compared to 2024. In 2023, Hollywood films accounted for only 14% of China’s box office.
Ne Zha 2 is due for release in North America on Feb 14.
