Satellite ended up being not too bad to self-host. I'll have to see how it runs on more locked down networks, because nostr apps on Android dont work well in such situations.

Most websites are hosted by someone else. The programs or whatever are running on someone else's servers. I'm running the copy of satellite I'm posting from on my own servers instead.

I wish I was so clever. Someone else did the heavy lifting, then I used their tools. :)
